Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Update on payments

Members, as many of you are aware there have been issues that are out of our control with some of the payment processors we're using for cashouts.

Neteller has stopped accepting any deposits from USA customers and Payza is again having issues with accepting USA deposits as well. We've also been told that Payza is unable to process any ACH (bank withdrawal) or send checks to USA customers. This makes it nearly impossible for us to pay via these methods when we cannot deposit money to th...

Members, it has come to our attention that some advertisers are attempting to use sneaky tactics to get you to open an attachment or popups in an ad. We do not allow any popups or auto downloads in ads so it you happen to see anything like this first do not open it, regardless of what it says. Secondly report the website to us so we can remove it. Hurricane Matthew

Members, this coming weekend we are projected to be in the path of hurricane Matthew. It's quite possible that we will lose power and internet sometime over the weekend due to the strength of this hurricane. This means there may be a delay in answering your support requests or approving your ads or purchases.

Update on hacking

Members we want to keep you informed on what is happening with our recent hack. It has come to our attention that this hacker did get access to our database server for a short period of time. He was able to gain access to this not directly but instead through an old server we were no longer using that had a connection to our database server. (This server has since been terminated).

Members, I apologize for taking the site offline without warning but it seems this hacker was able to find an exploit and was able to remotely change the names and balances on some accounts. Some of you will need to reenter your names. None of your personal account information was exposed. We were able to restore many account names but we did not want to restore this information from our backup because it would mean much longer time offline so we made the decision to have some of you re-enter...

Members as I am sure you have heard, on Sunday Sept 3rd a hacker took over our DNS and set ClixSense to redirect to a porn site. This hacker has been giving us trouble for over a month now first with the program csadviewer (we think), then with viruses in ads and now the DNS hack.

Members on Saturday August 13th at 3am EST the ClixSense website will be taken offline for maintenance. We will be adding new servers to help with our growth and at the same time migrating data to these new servers. We estimate that we can bring the site back online by 7pm EST on Saturday August 13th.

Sticky ad price changes

Members, when we first introduced our sticky ads in 2014 we based the price off what we thought the total amount of views per day would be. At that time we averaged roughly 50,000 views per day. Now, with ClixSense continuing to grow and more members online, our average views have increased by more than 50% to over 85,000 views per day. With this large increase it costs us more money per ad. We do not like to raise prices but in order to minimize loses we have to raise the price of our sticky...

Forum is back!

We have to apologize for keeping our forum disabled for so long. It's now back but unfortunately we were forced to restore it to an old state.


This means that some of the data was lost! 9 hours worth to be exact so anything that was submitted after 2016-02-19 07:34am EST is lost, that includes topics, posts, polls, likes, subscriptions, preferences, etc.
